Cam's Surgery

Baby girl got an ear infection and RSV at the first of February (conveniently when Momma and Daddy were in Mexico) and the ear infection never really went away.  For three months we rotated every possible antibiotic and spent more time in Dr. Mukundan's office than Charley and Carter combined.  When it became clear that tubes were the answer, I was so relieved!  Thankfully the ENT tested her adenoids as well, because they were so large they almost completely blocked the passage way.  Tubes alone wouldn't have fixed her problem, and knowing that in advance made all the difference in her treatment plan.

We arrived at the surgery center at 6:30 and they didn't end up taking her back until 9:00.  Keeping a hungry and thirsty baby occupied for that long was tricky, but thanks to coloring, bubbles, and Mickey, we made it.  The surgery was successful and we had our very agitated and hangry baby home before lunch time.  Cam isn't big on snuggies, so we enjoyed the after effects of anesthesia and soaked up the extra cuddles.
