Christmas Cards and Family Pictures

The week before our trip to California, I threw together outfits just in case we had a minute for Chesley to snap a Christmas card picture.  The timing really didn't work out, so we saved the outfits and did a session in September.  At the time, I didn't feel like the weather was too great, but I absolutely love how these turned out.  I am so incredibly thankful that Chesley is able to capture all the stages of our lives.  Just add Chesley's gorgeous pictures to Kari's design skills, and we had another beautiful Christmas card.

2019...what can I say...the days were busy and so very full, but the moments with friends and precious family were absolutely priceless!  My cup runneth over.

Santa

When we got home on Christmas afternoon, the girls were so excited to see what Santa had brought.  They hid on the stairs and changed back into their gowns while we turned the lights on the Christmas trees and got the camera ready.  It was so fun to see the joy and excitement in their eyes when they saw their Santa surprises.

Charley got an electric vespa, a blue Hi-Pod, and a gold earring holder...plus lots of treasures in her "boot."

Carter got the Barbie Dream House, a life-size wolf, and American Girl Doll #39...the one she picked from the website...also the one that looks nothing like any of Charley's dolls!

For their special piece of jewelry, we gave Charley a Kendra Scott necklace and gold flower stud earrings to Carter.

It was the perfect ending to a week filled with all things family and Christmas.
