Happy Valentine’s Day

It took LOTS of patience getting Charley ready for her Valentine’s party this year.  She hand wrote all of hers with “To: Friend, Love: Charley” and we decorated them, put in a bag with candy and finished them with a heart printed bow.  They were so cute and definitely made with love...I forgot to get a picture!  She was all decked out for her party complete with ruffles and a rose on her outfit and pink sparkle lipgloss in the perfect shade.

Between the school party and Valentine’s Day, we planned for the girls to go to Benton so Mommy and Daddy could go on a date.  We had a great dinner out and a full night of sleep...just in time for the stomach bug to strike...we all fell victim and it was pretty terrible.  We got back late Saturday night, so Charley wasn’t interested in her Valentines, but I got a few quick pictures before church Sunday...and before Charley and Craig got the bug!  Charley LOVED getting mail and opening all of her cards.  Amma let her pick out what she wanted at the Disney store, so we are now proud owners of Frozen sunglasses, new Rapunzel heehaw’s and Rapunzel figurines.

Charley started feeling a little better on Sunday night so we made some fabulous necklaces together.

Princess Party at Chick-fil-a

MT Juliet Chick-fil-a sure can throw a fun party!  Princesses, music, decorations, a balloon maker, snowman craft station, food the kids eat, the playground...the only thing they didn’t think of was where all the people would actually sit!  Charley was all about it...also, Elsa and Anna loved the sparkles in her hair!

Moms and Muffins

I cannot brag on MT Juliet Church of Christ Preschool enough.  Moms and Muffins was another sweet event they hosted, and I loved “meeting” Charley’s friends and spending a little time in her classroom.

Carter’s 3 Month Photo Session

I don’t think I can say it enough how good Carter is at this whole baby thing!  During the past month she spent her first whole weekend with Daddy and Big Sister while I went to market, rolled over, started jabbering, and even started laughing a little.  Her smiles are so precious, and she is definitely a Momma’s baby!  I breastfed until her 3 month milestone and called it quits since I will be working soon...I think I deserve a medal or maybe a fabulous gift from Daddy for being a milk cow for the last ninety-something-plus-days.  I know 3 months isn’t the long haul, but for me it was a huge accomplishment!  To end on an even more important note, Baby Carter deserves a medal for sleeping through the night several times this past month!  Hallelujah!
