Happy Valentine’s Day

If Valentine’s Day was a preview of the dreaded “terrible two’s,” then Craig and I are in for it!  I had planned on getting my oil changed, having lunch and running errands with just Momma and Charley...we did manage to accomplish all of those things, but not without multiple fits and fights along the way.  Apparently we started the day off on the wrong foot, literally, when I wouldn’t let her wear dress up heels!  It went up and down hill from there!  I can only imagine with a daughter this won’t be our only dramatic Valentines Day, and that one day I will be wishing for dress up high heel fights.  At the end of the day, Charley did enjoy looking at all of her Valentine cards and playing with her presents.

Circus with the Twins

A few months ago I got a call from Jason saying he got us all tickets to the circus.  I was so excited for our first outing with Charley and the twins.  We had the best day together from meeting at the downtown Chuy’s for lunch, spending the afternoon at the circus, and pizza and play time at our house before they had to go back to Benton.  Tracey was so on top of her game and came super prepared!  She even had a cute circus bag for Charley with circus animal toys and animal crackers, which she loved!  I would say the only thing that could have made the day better would have been a group picture with all of us...maybe next time!

Despite these last three pictures, the kids LOVED the circus and watched the whole thing (except for the parts Charley and Lily slept through!)

30 Before 30

I actually started this blog so I could have all of the entries turned into a book for Charley...her First Year book turned out way better than I could have expected, which made me even more motivated to keep it up...which explains why the majority of the content revolves around her!  With that being said, I feel like its important for me to do a “Momma-post” for two reasons: 1. I need a little accountability, because I finalized my list over a month ago and haven’t really made any progress. 2. I think one day Charley might enjoy or get a laugh out of her Momma.  Either way, here is my 30 Before 30 (in no particular order)...let the countdown begin!!!!

1. Read the Bible cover to cover
2. Pay off student loans
3. Look FAB at 30...I would normally say “get skinny,” but #16 doesn’t really do me any favors, so instead of anything specific like a certain weight or fit into my favorite jeans, I will strive for fabulous-ness, whatever weight that is!
