Carter the Lipstick Ninja

I think Carter is a Lipstick Ninja!  It is unbelievable how big of a mess she can make in such a little amount of time!  When I was in the shower I heard, "YEAH...I did it!!!"  I looked out in enough time to see that she had "colored" the vanity and seat with BRIGHT RED LIPSTICK!  Since then, the little ninja has left her mark on the walls, living room ottoman, her white bedroom curtains, and the dollhouse in the playroom...just to name a few places.  I hate to admit it, but she is the cutest Lipstick Ninja that I have ever seen!  ðŸ’‹

Cheerleading Competition in Louisville

The Grinches had their last cheer competition on the first weekend of March in Louisville.  We decided to make it a Momma/Charley trip, and I'm so glad we did!  We had the best girl time with each other and her precious friends and their Mommas!  All the fun helped to make up for the fact that Charley couldn't participate, but she coached like a pro!  The Grinches did great, and I am so proud of Coach Charley!!!

Fun Day with the Girls

I didn't realize that an injury meant so many trips to the doctor, but we went to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital several times for x-rays, new casts and finally a brace.  Fortunately for us, we turned one of the appointments into a fun day including lunch with Billy and Marilyn at Chuy's, shopping, a carousel ride and a giant cookie!

Pickin' March Flowers with Granddad Mike

After the broken arm, Charley was longing for time in Kentucky, and Kentucky was longing for Charley.  Some extra love from family and an afternoon of pickin' March flowers with Granddad Mike was just was the doctor ordered.  One of my favorite things to do as a kid was pick March flowers, and I love that the girls are getting to make those same memories!

Rainbow Heart Valentine Box

On Sunday (after breaking her arm on Thursday), Charley was ready to be a "craft girl" and make her Valentine box.  She requested rainbow and hearts...so I took it a step further and brought home supplies for a rainbow heart purse!  She wast tickled and LOVED it!!  Even with one arm, I think it turned out to be one of the cutest Valentine's Day boxes I've ever seen!
