4th of July Picnic on Frizzell Drive

Grandaddy Charlie's Annual 4th of July picnic had a change of venue this year, and everyone loved all the extra space on Frizzell Drive....it was such a great day!

Father's Day Weekend

We celebrated Daddy, Grandad Mike and Billy with an early Father's Day dinner at Hermitage Steak House.  Normally the guys go by themselves, but they let us tag along this trip.  Charley and Carter loved having an excuse to get dressed up, and I loved that Grandad's belly was still bigger than mine!

Carter's Preschool Graduation

One of the canceled events for the spring that bummed me out the most was Carter's Preschool Graduation.  The very thought of not getting to see her perform on the Mount Juliet Church of Christ stage one last time or wear her cap and gown made me cry.  THANKFULLY, Miss Tina decided to put together a social-distancing version of graduation, and even though it was different than the past, it gave us some closure to a really big chapter for Carter.

Carter's Softball Season

We are so thankful Mount Juliet Little League decided to have a mini season during the month of June.  Carter said, "this is my dream!"  By the look on her Daddy's face at every game, despite the blazing heat, I would say it was his dream, too!  She really improved from last fall, and I hope I never forget that sweet girl giving me the thumbs up every single time she walked up to bat!  And if she wasn't just the cutest little thing hitting the ball, she came up with her very own ready to run position and made sure to be in that stance every time she got on base...seriously the cutest Dodger I've ever seen!
