Tater Day

My Tater Day policy is that we can skip school to attend if the forecast looks good, and this year the first Monday in April was so beautiful!  Grandad Mike just finished his 2nd hot rod, so the whole family rode in the parade!  Every time someone yelled "let's hear it," Amma revved the engine, and her redneck side almost had me in tears from laughing so hard.  Unfortunately, Craig had to work, but he was able to slip away long enough to see us in the parade and eat some of the yummy fair food.  We spent the entire day doing all things Tater Day, and were all pretty tater-ed out by the time we pulled back into our driveway later that night, but it was SO worth it!
