Solar Eclipse

We went to school to watch the solar eclipse with Charley and her class, and it was such a magnificent experience.  Mount Juliet had over two minutes of total coverage, and we had a perfectly clear view with no clouds.  As the sky darkened, the automatic lights turned on across the parking lot,  the temperature turned cooler and the crickets started chirping.  It was night in the middle of the day, and it was remarkable.

(Carter cried when it was over!)

Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now I'm only falling apart
And there's nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart
