Ms. Amber's 1st Grade Christmas Party

Elementary Christmas parties in Wilson County are not what I expected.  NO FOOD...no special cookies...no cute treats...no drinks...no candy...just crafts and games.  Crafts and games planned by the room mom, me!  I prepped for the class party while on a work trip in Florida, and I was SO excited when Michaels deal of the day was 70% off canvases.  Thankfully I had my Vera Bradley shopping bag with me, so I was able to travel home with 24 canvases, 80 notecards and lots of stickers.  The kids painted canvases, made Christmas cards and had a book exchange.  Ms. Amber couldn't believe how interested the kids were in the crafts, and I loved how happy Charley was the room mom!
