We’ve barely seen the Artley’s (or anyone) since the baby was born, but
we managed to celebrate Christmas after church at Olive Garden before everyone
got too busy. The girls wore
Christmas outfits, even though Charley was NOT happy about it. Amma bought her this adorable smocked
dress on sale after last Christmas, and Charley came running into my bathroom
before church crying about how much she hated it. The sleeves were too poufy and she did NOT like it! It was pitiful and hilarious, all at
the same time. I told her she had
to wear it that Sunday and the next Sunday at Amma’s church, but never again
after that. Lesson learned for
Amma…no more smocked dresses!!!
Charley and Sam were so excited about exchanging gifts with each
other. Sam got a Thor hoodie for
his Christmas trip to Disney, and Charley got all of the Sleeping Beauty
characters to play with. They were
both thrilled. They even helped
Baby Carter open her presents. She
got a super cute toy and Olaf book.
