Charley’s Christmas Performance

During the month of December, Charley’s dance class was practicing a little number to perform for the parents before the Christmas break.  They practiced with jingle bells and looked so cute learning their parts.  For the performance they were allowed to wear festive color outfits instead of the traditional pink and black.  I found the cutest outfit in red at TJMaxx a few days before class.  Craig took an hour off from work so he could be there, too.  Needless to say, she looked adorable...but that’s all I can really report.  As soon as the music came on, she bolted!  Miss Taylor let them do it a second time, and she participated...sort of!

Every week after class a group of girls go to Chickfila to play and have lunch.  We missed that week because Granddad Charlie had his annual doctor’s appointment at Vanderbilt, but we got to have lunch with Granny and Granddad instead.  Charley kept her dance outfit on, and everyone in the waiting room thought it was so cute.  One man told her she needed to be outside in the courtyard for pictures with the Christmas lights and reindeer.  She said, “I need a gun to shoot those reindeer!”  What a lady!
