Momma/Daughter Days

One of the last things we planned before the baby's arrival was to have a full day of Momma/Daughter one on one time.  Both girls were SO excited about their special day with me, and we made sure to do everything on their lists.

True to her personality, Carter's day ended up being a few hours...which was more than enough time to please her.  We had lunch at Gondola (because she wanted to go to the spaghetti place, but ordered pizza), grabbed unicorn birthday supplies at Party City, shopped for tennis shoes and new panties at Opry Mills, got candy and a milk shake, and finished our fun day with a new Barbie at Target.  Carter is the most content child, and she is always so easy to please.  I loved every minute of our time together!

My more high maintenance child had a FULL day planned for us, and we couldn't have had a better time together...despite our slightly rocky start over what she was to wear for the day.  We started the morning at Pancake Pantry, she worked on her Sound of Music script while I had my last OB appt, we shopped at Green Hills and Cool Springs, enjoyed pretzel bites and ice cream, and we finished our day at Nordstrom Rack and TJMaxx.  She got a few new outfits and the most adorable pair of tennis shoes and took lots of pictures for her Christmas wishlist.  I hate how fast she is growing up, and I absolutely loved our one on one time together!
