Love at First Sight Meeting Baby Carter

When we finally got into a hospital room, Granddad Mike and Granddaddy Charlie were patiently waiting to meet our newest addition to the family.  They got to spend a little time with Carter before she got her first bath and before all of our other visitors arrived.  Charley was the “Washer Hands Police” and made sure everyone had clean hands before they held Baby Sister.  Our hospital stay was less than 48 hours, but we still had lots of visitors.  Dr. Mukundan came to the hospital both days to check on Carter and her APGAR score was a 9 out of 10...which is pretty much perfection!  As far as nursing goes, she latched on about an hour into recovery and has been a great eater ever since.  However, most of the hospital stay consisted of her trying to nurse.  Between the constant nursing, revolving door of nurses and all of the visitors, this Momma was definitely thrilled when it was time to go home and start our life as a family of four.

How many grandmothers does it take to change a diaper?
