Annie - Night 1
Tuesday, December 5 was opening night for Cast 2 of Annie at the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon. Charley used the night to learn how to not smile and use a "serious" face, and I learned how to use my camera. The audience was a little sleepy, but the show was incredible! Charley's fan club included Amma, Momma, Daddy, Carter, Diana, Kari, Lindsey, Chris, Julie and Kate Plummer. We ran into Charley's music teacher Ms. Boykin after the show, and she was so excited for Charley to have this experience and said she couldn't wait for her to try out for the school play in 3rd grade. Craig endearingly nicknamed Charley, The Mayor, around the time of Annie. We can't go anywhere that she doesn't know someone, and we crack up at how many people of all ages know her when we are out and about. It took at least an hour each night after the show for the Mayor to socialize, hug and take pictures with all of her friends.

Santa
A full December calendar wasn't going to keep us away from seeing Santa. The girls loved going to flight school, sitting on Santa's lap, and playing in the fake snow...I loved not having to sit on Santa's lap with them and seeing how cute they were giving Santa their wish lists. Charley asked for a desk, stuff for Gabriella and a new iPod case. Carter asked for gummies...just gummies.
