Twinkle Toes 2 Dance Recital

For two years our Wednesday mornings have been filled with Charley's dance class and a standing date with friends at Chick-fil-a.  We have all gotten to know each other so well, and I love the friendships that the girls, Momma's, Amma's and Mimi's have made.  The girls have all improved so much since they started dance, and they did such a good job performing at their recital.  I am especially proud of Charley and how hard she has worked.  She has practiced cartwheels, backbends and rolls non-stop!

I'm not sure if Charley was the most proud of...
...Uncle Justin coming to recital?
...doing her backbend from standing up?
...getting another trophy?
...wearing lip liner?
...Amma's flowers being the colors she requested?
or
...the Pandora dance charm for her bracelet?

Regardless, she had lots of reasons for the huge, sassy smile she wore on her face...and a very proud cheering section!!!

Memorial Day weekend in Atlanta

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Atlanta with Craig's family.  The girls had a great time seeing everyone and playing with all of Daddy's toys.  Charley was especially fascinated with his Lite-Brite!  We took Craig's grandparents to the Braves game on Saturday afternoon.  It was melt-your-face-off hot, but we all had a great time!

Rutland Rocket

In just one short month Charley will start kindergarten at Rutland Elementary.  It's far enough away that I don't have to think about it right now...I'm channelling my inner Scarlett...but she is so excited to be a Rutland Rocket!  She loved going to registration, touring the school and taking her placement test.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend was coupled with Charley's preschool graduation and her last t-ball game.  So the four of us celebrated with Pizza Hut and Sonic after church on Sunday at home!  It doesn't matter where I go or what kind of meal I have, as long as I get the day with my girls and their Daddy.   Charley made the sweetest card, and she couldn't wait to give it to me.  It was waiting on my nightstand when I woke up Sunday morning!  I sure missed being with my mom and grandmothers in KY, but special time with my girls made for the perfect day.

...also, Craig spoiled me a few months back in Vegas with a Louis Vuitton wallet for an early Mother's Day gift...which was a total and very appreciated surprise!!!
