Miss Valerie asked the girls to be part of her grand opening event for Dynamic Ballroom and Performing Arts, and I'm so glad she did. It was such a neat performance and very fun to watch so many people showing off their creative talents. I'm so thankful the girls have access to invaluable education that will help them in musical theatre right in Mount Juliet.
A summer isn't complete until we've spent at least one week in swimming lessons. I can't brag on Carter enough. She took a strokes class and blew me away with her progress. Her backstroke was beautiful, and I was so impressed when she took the tread test. I didn't take my eyes off of her for the entire 52 minutes that she bobbed in the water, because she was so little compared to the rest of the class. Without a doubt, the money we spend on swimming lessons is invaluable.
Camryn was 9 months on July 13, and this photo session was by far the hardest. The best word to describe this little stinker is BUSY! She wants to crawl, stand, and pull up on all the things all the time. You can set a clock by her sleep schedule...she wants to be in her bed at 9:00, 2:00, and 8:00...which is amazing as long as you don't have to go anywhere. She loves to sleep and eat, and she loses her mind with excitement when her sisters walk in the room. She will look past any toy for an outlet, electrical cord, humidifier...basically anything she's not supposed to have, which is new parenting territory for us. Our hands are most definitely full, but we can't imagine life any other way.
