Day 6 was essentially a travel day with a few stops along the way. We were pretty tired after our full day in Acadia National Park, so we started a little later than we originally planned. We took the back roads and made our way south enjoying even more beautiful scenery. We made a point to drive through the town of Bath, and it was so cute. We attempted lunch in Portland at Becky's Diner (Billy saw it on the Food Network a long time ago and wanted to check it out), but the wait was way too long for 9 people. We checked seeing a lighthouse off our list with the Portland Head Light, and it was such a fun place for the girls to explore and climb on the rocks. We finished the day with dinner, shopping, and ice cream in Kennebunkport. The sunset was gorgeous when we stopped to get a few pictures of the Bush compound, so the adults plus Charley jumped out to take advantage of the backdrop. We finished the day by driving into Boston and getting settled into our hotel, where we were all thankful to stay in one place for a few days. Camryn spent the night playing in our hotel room with the paper cups and her new moose, and I'm quite certain that was her favorite part of the whole day!
