Spring Softball - Braves

The peewee softball Braves should win the award for most improved during the spring season.  They started their season only winning one of their first six games, but ended the regular season with a 7-7 record...we won't talk about the tournament, it didn't go too well.  Regardless of the ending, Carter and Coach Craig had such a fun season!  I loved watching his face light up as her dad and coach.  Carter continued to get stronger as the season progressed, and I think we have lots of ballpark days in our future!  The way she runs the bases is 100% my favorite thing to watch, and one of our team helpers called her "Wheels" because she is so fast!  Her extreme competitive side (she gets that from her Daddy) came out a few times and she cried over some losses, but overall she had her sweet, encouraging attitude and hilarious commentary throughout the entire season!

Piper, MK and Carter represented the Braves in the end of season all-star game, and that fact alone shows how much she has improved!  We are so proud of our softball loving girl!

We wrapped up the season with a fun team pool party.  Coach Craig and Carter are already looking forward to the fall season, but they are really going to miss a few extra special girls that have to move up to the next league...thankfully sweet Emery lives in the neighborhood!
