Bugsy Malone, Jr.

I think I felt the same way about Bugsy Malone, Jr. (Charley's 5th and 3rd grade play at Rutland) as Charley felt about the pin curls she had to wear to achieve 1920's glam.  The show ended up being cute, but gracious, it was the play that would never end...or actually happen.  She rehearsed twice a week for entire 3rd grade year, then the whole thing was shut down for COVID right before showtime.  The 4th grade year was spent talking about doing Bugsy Malone, Jr., and they finally performed the show at the end of April of this year.  As Charley's luck would have it, she ended up getting very sick the night before the final show, and she had to miss it.  Her performances might have been cut short, but she was a star on stage, like always!
