Craig and I had to be at the hospital by 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13 to check in for our scheduled c-section. Our sweet Camryn Jean was born at 7:44 a.m, and I immediately noticed her head full of dark hair, how teeny she was, and that she looked just like Charley when she was born. She weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and was 17.5 inches long. As disappointed as we were at the thought of not getting to introduce her to her big sisters until we got home, it was surprisingly nice being in the hospital without visitors. For two days, we stayed in our little room and got to love on our precious baby. Craig was a total rockstar dad, and he took care of every single need that Baby Cam had, besides feeding her, while I recovered from surgery. A downfall of the pandemic meant no nursery, so she stayed in the room with us the whole time. We had two delicious meals from Maggiano's and J. Alexanders, watched a few episodes of Longmire on Netflix and FaceTimed with our family and the big girls.
