Charley and Carter are living proof that no two kids are the same! Charley knew her ABC’s at 18 months and was writing her name (well) by age 3. Carter could care less about the ABC’s, and I often joke that she holds a pen like a serial killer holds a knife!
For an entire year, we’ve worked with her to identify the alphabet. I would ask her if she saw the “A” and she would say, “do you see the A?” She would get a few right, then get bored and start telling us wrong on purpose! FINALLY, one year after working with her, she willingly told me all 26 letters correctly in one sitting! The last picture was her "yeah...I just did it" pose!
