Carter's Last Day of School and End of Year Program
Carter loved going to preschool this year! She loved her class, her teachers and especially her friends Walker and Kylie! She has been singing "Twinkle Twinkle" over and over these past few weeks, so we assumed it was for her end of year program. Carter can be a wild card, so we weren't sure if she would participate or not. I bribed her with ice cream from Dairy Queen if she sang in her performance....thankfully all the stars lined up, because she was in a good mood, she smiled, let us take her picture and sang every word of her songs!!! Our Little Bit is getting so big!!!
Mother's Day Weekend
Mother's Day weekend was tough. We spent the weekend working in the garden and cleaning out Granny Martha and Grandaddy Charlie's closets and drawers. It was also emotionally tough, because Aunt Eutonia passed away Sunday morning while we were in church. After spending time with the family, we went on as planned to Belew's to celebrate Mother's Day and Granny and Grandad's 68th wedding anniversary. Thankfully, tough days are made easier when surrounded by family...and we have the very best!
Carter Goes to the Dentist
Charley had her 6 month dentist appointment, so I took Carter to watch so she would be ready for her first appointment. Lucky for us, they were able to fit Carter in the schedule. She was such a big girl and enjoyed a milkshake before lunch to celebrate!
