Charley's Week in Kentucky

Charley had one request for the entire summer, and that was to spend "a week...7 full days...in Kentucky, with no distractions!"  She had a super full week and stayed busy every day!!!

Day 1...She and Amma went to Belew's and for a fun walk over the bridge.

Day 2...They took an afternoon road trip back to Nashville to meet Baby Mabel!  Charley had to hold her first, and Amma had to beg for a turn!! 😂 Granddad Mike rode with them, and Craig, Carter and I met them for dinner at Chuys.  She was adamant that we couldn't come to Kentucky until Sunday, because that was a full week!  haha

Day 3...Wednesday was spent swimming at Aunt Marsha's house.  Charley had a blast playing with Dathan!!  They ended the day with a ride in red rocket (at Charley's request) to Belew's and church!

Day 4...Thursday was a girls day for Charley and Amma including lunch, a movie, and shopping in Murray before Keyton's birthday party.  

Day 5...Charley had big plans to spend the day at "home" playing with American Girl dolls, but Grandaddy Charlie had another agenda, so Amma and Charley helped pick SEVEN 5 gallon buckets of green beans.  

Day 6...A Kentucky visit wouldn't be complete without a trip to Paducah to the jumping place in the mall.  This particular Paducah trip was extra special, because it included the jumping place, another movie and more shopping.  

Day 7...After church on Sunday, Amma and Charley went over to Candice's house to swim.  

The only thing missing from Charley's Kentucky Wishlist was having a sleepover with Laney, but thankfully her KY week was right before the 4th of July and Emily was able to fulfill that request!!!
