Cam talked about celebrating her 5th birthday in New York City, just like Charley did, for weeks leading up to her actual birthday. We thought she understood that NYC was in place of a party, but we discovered at the last minute that she really needed to have a party because they are a blast....her words. We were already scheduled to host life group the night before her birthday, and we had planned to celebrate all of the October birthdays. Thankfully no one cared that the cake said "Happy Birthday Cam," and we just told her it was her party. She said it was the best one ever!
