Just a few days after the 4th of July, Charley and Carter were in Beauty and the Beast, Jr. at the Capitol Theatre. It actually ended up being our busiest weekend of the summer. It was what I called an "all hands on deck" type of weekend just to get everyone to where they had to be, while keeping baby Cam at home. It was chaos, but we survived. I'm so thankful that our sweet friends and family came to support the girls. I wasn't able to be at every show, but I was at ease knowing they had such great support in the audience. Carter was hands down the cutest knife you've ever seen, and Charley was wonderful as an advanced dancer. According to Mrs. Lena, Charley had the most costume changes out of everyone in the whole play.
For the first time in a year and a half, things were back to normal...no mask requirement, the theatre was full with normal rows and playbills were handed out...it was glorious!
