Audience of One Productions tends to be a bright spot in our year, and that couldn't be more true for 2020. We are so thankful for Miss Lena and Miss Angie for taking so many precautions to let the show go on, as they say, during a pandemic. Charley and Carter sent in virtual auditions in the spring, and for weeks we weren't sure if there would be a show or not. Charley was cast as a Featured Oompa Loompa, which was a huge deal for her to wear a microphone for the first time in a show and have solo lines in a song. Carter surprised us all by saying she was going to be in "Billy Wonka," and we were thrilled when she was cast as an Oompa Loompa. Though the preparation process was much different than normal, including at home learning with Zoom calls, YouTube videos, temperature checks at the door and socially-distanced rehearsals, it was all worth it in the end. Willy Wonka, Jr. was incredible!!! The girls were adorable and hilarious as Oompa Loompa's, and Charley's first solo was perfect.
