There was much debate over when Alice was going to arrive before Christmas. Charley was really hoping for the day after Thanksgiving, but I was fairly confident it would be December 1. Alice proved us both wrong and showed up once we finally finished decorating for Christmas...somewhere between Thanksgiving and December 1. She really paid attention to the girls and did all kinds of funny things they would love. She flew a kite (like Mary Poppins), brought Carter a stuffed Grinch (her favorite movie), met up with the tooth fairy and left Charley money for a tooth she pulled, drew emojis on Daddy's bananas, roasted marshmallows, and had a dance party 9 days before Christmas with 8 other American Girls Dolls (9 Ladies Dancing...a line from the girls' favorite Christmas song)! Her time with us was magical, but as always, I was happy to see her go!
