Christmas Cards

The Biltmore
A week or so before Christmas, we planned a trip to the Biltmore for the 26th. We didn't go on any big trips last year, so we thought a couple of days away would be fun...and North Carolina was a state that neither of the girls had been to. What we didn't factor into the decision was our level of post-Christmas-tired, but we powered through with lots of junk food and Diet Coke and ended up having lots of fun with Amma and Grandad on our little getaway.
Trip Highlights:
* We should have researched the policy on concealed weapons in advance, but thankfully Craig asked Dad if he was packing seconds before we went through security. Needless to say, I made the trek back to the car with my camera bag holding something other than a camera.
* The Biltmore was beautiful at Christmas...a must see for everyone, except maybe 4 year olds...Carter was less than impressed.
* Duck Donuts were crazy good. (My mouth is watering just thinking about them.)
