2015...the year of the interesting and witty Christmas card
Pictures with Chesley had to be postponed because of the crazy "rash" that covered my body the day before our shoot. I was convinced that I had the chicken pox for the second time from my inability to scratch my itch and the insane number of "spots." It wasn't until I spent an inconclusive afternoon at the allergy doctor and received a full allergy panel to discover that my "hives" were in fact bites...long story short...bed bug bites from my super nice hotel in Boca! Go ahead...shiver from head to toe and start scratching.
I decided to just embrace my lovely situation and provide humor for some friends when they received their 2015 Christmas card from us.
"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night...and don't let the bed bugs bite!"
(Thanks Chesley for the beautiful pictures, and Kari for the best. card. ever.)
Alice the Elf
Alice the Elf arrived at the Robinson household right after Thanksgiving. It's nice to have the extra pair of "eyes" to watch the girls, but that Elf is high maintenance. She hid in some fun places this year...and some last-minute-where-can-we-throw-her-before-Charley-gets-up places. Charley said her favorite was when Alice flew in Mommy and Daddy's room and hung above our bed from the ceiling fan...of course I didn't get a picture of that.
Mommy's favorite was when Alice left a note and a box telling the girls to put in one toy each day for the last week leading up to Christmas. Alice was going to take those toys back to the North Pole so Santa could fix them up in his workshop for other little boys and girls. Much to my surprise, Charley loved this task. She decided she didn't want to wait and give one toy a day, but filled the box on the first night.
See you next year, Alice.
Christmas with Mamy and Pops
The girls loved starting their Christmas season with lots of fun presents from Mamy and Pops. Charley's favorite gift was her Hello Kitty sleeping bag, and she tried it out in the floor beside Mamy and Pop's bed. Carter loved playing with her Frozen car and envelope from MawMaw...but her favorite toy of the night was my bottled water!
Christmas with Friends
The girls spent a good bit of time celebrating Christmas with their special friends. The days leading up to Christmas were filled celebrating with Billy and Marilyn, Sam, Keyton and Khloe, Uncle Mike and Tammy, Wes and Judy, Haley and Logan and Nell. I love how these people love my girls...and the girls love them, too!

Charley 4 Years 6 Months AND 4 Years 9 Months
Well...I failed...again! I knew blogging with two girls was going to be challenging, but I keep up with the Kardashians better than I have with their blog lately. I've never been so behind or completely forgotten a staple entry. So, my favorite blog will be combined...iphone pictures for half a year, instead of a quarter...Miss Priss at her finest!
