Big Sister Meet Little Sister

After months of preparing Charley for what it would be like to have a little sister, the moment finally came for us to make the introductions.  Amma was able to bring her back to see us in recovery, and she was “sort of” interested.  Once we finally got back to our room, things were pretty chaotic and Charley’s main concern was getting her “prizes” we had promised.  After opening her necklace that Carter gave her, gift bag of goodies from us and a Tinker Bell doll from Amma and Granddad, she still didn’t really love the idea that there were gifts for Baby Carter...or the attention Carter was getting.  I am happy to report that now, two and a half weeks later, Charley is loving her little sister...most of the time!!!
