Spring softball highlights...the Braves had a very impressive season (11-2-1) and took home silver rings at the championship game. Carter hit her first home run in the kid pitch league, and she filled in for Eliza as catcher a few times and loved learning a new position.
Over the last few years, May has turned into one of my least favorite months. There are more things to do than time on the calendar, and this particular May was insane. At some point during the last week of school, we attended school programs where Charley received awards for excellence in health science and strength and conditioning. (That last one cracks me up every time I think about it.) Carter was named Heroic Helper in her class, and Craig and I talked her into skipping the picnic portion of her awards day so the three of us could go to Cracker Barrel.
