One: Twenty-Seven 5K and Fun Run

After lots of meetings, discussions and prayers, we decided to use everything we learned from Maddie's Dash to start a new College Hills Ministry called One: Twenty-Seven to help fund families that want to foster or adopt children.  I'm super excited to see the potential for this ministry and the many families and children that will be impacted for years to come.  The One: Twenty-Seven 5K and Fun Run was very similar to Maddie's Dash.  It was on the last Saturday in October and had the same Halloween theme.  Lots of time and energy went into planning the event, but I am so happy to report that we not only raised all of the funds for Brian and Amy Robertson's adoption, but we have a jump start on fundraising for the next family at College Hills that wants to adopt.  Being on a planning committee for such an amazing cause is such a blessing.  I'm so thankful for College Hills and the people that worship there...so many amazing teachers and mentors for my sweet girls.

Julian Family Pictures

Craig's grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary earlier this year and asked for a family picture with all of their kids and grandkids.  Picture day was planned for a Saturday in October near their house in East Tennessee.  With Charley's Annie schedule and our super full calendar, we were only able to drive over for the day.  The girls had the best time with Gracie and Olivia and couldn't stop talking about them the whole way home!  And despite Carter waking up as we pulled in to meet the photographer, the pictures turned out beautiful!

Family Pictures with Chesley

Captions aren't necessary for our family photo session with Chesley.  She has such a gift of capturing the best in everyone...including Carter!  I couldn't be more pleased with how these turned out.
