Christmas with Mamy and Pops

The girls loved starting their Christmas season with lots of fun presents from Mamy and Pops.  Charley's favorite gift was her Hello Kitty sleeping bag, and she tried it out in the floor beside Mamy and Pop's bed.  Carter loved playing with her Frozen car and envelope from MawMaw...but her favorite toy of the night was my bottled water!

Christmas with Friends

The girls spent a good bit of time celebrating Christmas with their special friends.  The days leading up to Christmas were filled celebrating with Billy and Marilyn, Sam, Keyton and Khloe, Uncle Mike and Tammy, Wes and Judy, Haley and Logan and Nell.  I love how these people love my girls...and the girls love them, too!

Charley 4 Years 6 Months AND 4 Years 9 Months

Well...I failed...again!  I knew blogging with two girls was going to be challenging, but I keep up with the Kardashians better than I have with their blog lately.  I've never been so behind or completely forgotten a staple entry.  So, my favorite blog will be combined...iphone pictures for half a year, instead of a quarter...Miss Priss at her finest!

Ginger Bread House 2015

Charley is such a craft and project girl.  If you can color, cut, decorate, paint, glue, glitter, build, or assemble it, she’s your girl.  Her second annual Ginger Bread House didn’t disappoint.  Sister loves a pattern and was very specific on what she wanted to go where.  The warm weather outside made me very nervous that it wouldn’t stay together or set up, but it turned out pretty great and made for a fun night as we started prepping for the Christmas season!

Charley’s Dance Class Cookie Decorating Party

I traveled so much this year that I really wanted to do something special for Charley and her friends around the holidays.  Her excitement from just hearing about the idea of a cookie decorating party after dance class (instead of Chickfila) made the whole afternoon worth it.  Ten of the cutest little girls came over for lunch, play time and cookie decorating.  They picnicked on the floor (sorry Craig) to Chickfila nuggets while the Momma’s, Amma’s and one Daddy enjoyed soup and sandwiches.

I’m not sure what I actually expected, but the whole decorating part went way more smoothly than I anticipated.  I made the cookies the night before, and the table was filled with icings and tons of toppings.  We let each girl decorate the same cookie, and they left with 4 or 5 VERY decorated cookies…and Sweettarts from Amma…and a sugar high!
