Camryn - 6 Months

Camryn Jean is always so happy when you take her clothes off, and that is so clear in her 6 month photo shoot.  Our first attempt to get a decent picture didn't go so well.  We tried again when we got home from her doctor's appointment, and she put on a show for the camera.  I think she is already taking after her big sisters and has an opinion about the clothes and hair bows that I pick out.  Everyone says she looks like Carter, but she acts so much like Charley.  She definitely gives her a run for her money in the high maintenance category.  The only difference is that Cam is such a great sleeper, and Charley was awful.  

She finally hit 13 pounds (4th %) at her 6 month check up.  Considering how much she spits up, we are happy with any progress.  She rolls everywhere, is getting better and better at sitting unassisted, rocks the most adorable ponytail, thinks her sisters are hilarious, loves our nightly dance parties to Hamilton and has watched so many episodes of Heartland while eating that I wouldn't be surprised if she asks Grandad Mike for a pony!  She loves her bath, going on stroller rides and taking marathon naps every day in her "swang!"

Easter and Cam's 1st Church Service

Easter is always one of my favorite holidays, but this year was extra special.  It was Cam's first Easter and her first time to go to church.  At the end of the church service, the preacher looked back at us and said, "Mike, introduce us to your newest family member."  The look on my dad's face was priceless. We've never been "called on" during church, but he very proudly responded with, "Camryn Jean!"  The preacher commented on how good she was and that she slept through his whole lesson.  Lonnie Woodruff got up to make announcements, and he said, "she's already taking after her Grandad Mike!"  It was hilarious and the perfect memory to share with Cam one day!
