Camryn - 10 Months

Baby Cam definitely made me work for her 10 month pictures.  Thankfully Amma and Grandad were here, because it took all three of us to get a couple of decent ones.  I think I said this last month, but our hands are so full with this little lady.  She is so busy.  She wants to climb over, pull up on, chew and play with everything in sight...everything besides her actual toys.  Sleeping and eating are her two favorite things, and she is pretty much in a mood when she's not doing one or the other.  She has 7 teeth, this is more than any of our girls at that age, and her newest trick is to immediately spit when she spits up...it's so gross.

She goes crazy for Mickey Mouse and her big sisters, and has answered "Camryn, how does the cow go?" so many times that she now "moos" when I say her name.  Oops!  She hates the car, so taking her anywhere is not really fun, but gosh she's the cutest, little stinker!

First Day of 1st and 5th Grade

The big girls started 1st and 5th grade, and it was a completely normal first day!  After 18 months of things always being up in the air, "normal" was cause for celebration.  The first day of school always makes me realize how much they've grown.  Charley looks (and acts) way too old, and a side by side picture of her first day of kindergarten and 5th grade only confirmed that we've gotten to this place way too fast.  Craig realized on the drive to school that this is the last year we will have two kids in the same school building, ever!  I almost didn't cry, but a little boy in Carter's class said her name the minute we walked in and was obviously excited to see her.  My eyes got teary, but they were happy tears.  She only made a few friends last year, so knowing she had a friend on the first day was so reassuring.

Grand Opening Performance for Dynamic

Miss Valerie asked the girls to be part of her grand opening event for Dynamic Ballroom and Performing Arts, and I'm so glad she did.  It was such a neat performance and very fun to watch so many people showing off their creative talents.  I'm so thankful the girls have access to invaluable education that will help them in musical theatre right in Mount Juliet.
