Hotter than the 4th of July

Whoa...4th of July was SO hot!  Grandaddy Charlie passed out...we are pretty sure he had a heat stroke.  Thankfully Cousin Dale is a doctor and got him to go in the house and rest.  He did NOT follow doctor's orders and was back in the heat at the garden the next morning...under a technicality that he stayed in the truck...in the blazing heat...he passed out in Mom and Dad's garage after that!

That pretty much sums up our 4th of July in Kentucky!  Haha!  The picnic was great, while it lasted, and I was able to get a few pictures.  The kiddos sure were adorable!

Seussical the Musical, Jr. - Fans and Friends

Charley seriously has the best fan club.  Each night all of her supporters filled the audience, and we couldn't be more thankful to everyone that came to watch.  I'm not sure if my favorite part was seeing her name listed in the Playbill as a main character or watching her sign her first autograph???  Both were pretty proud Momma moments.
