The Wilson Central Cheer banquet was the perfect celebration for our season. Hours of hard work and dedication were poured into this team and season, and I loved how the girls were recognized for their accomplishments. Charley tied with Harper and Riley for the Highest Freshman GPA award with an impressive 4.25. It's tradition for the team to vote on superlatives, and Charley was awarded Rookie of the Year.
Coaching wasn't always easy, especially starting with a brand new school and taking over an established program, but things slowly improved throughout the year. I'm so proud of the team's growth and proud of Charley's dedication.
